Single Speed Tune-Up

  • Includes Safety Check items plus:
  • Light cleaning of entire bike
  • Lube chain
  • Adjust hubs, headset & bottom bracket
  • Recommend further work
  • Wheel truing not included

Standard Tune-Up

  • Inspection of all components and frame for damage and wear
  • Light wash of bike and wheels
  • Adjust shifting and brakes
  • Adjust hubs, headset and bottom bracket
  • Lube chain, cables, and any pivot points/moving parts
  • Inflate tires to proper pressure
  • Recommend further work
  • Wheel truing not included

Tune and Clean

  • Everything the Standard Tune-Up includes PLUS:
  • Complete wash/clean and polish of entire bike
  • Drive train (derailleurs, chain, cassette & right side crank) removed and thoroughly degreased/cleaned before re-installing on bike
  • Free installation of any purchased parts
  • Air, inspect, and lube suspension components
  • Your drive train will come out sparkling clean and will reward you with increased efficiency, better performance and longer life!
  • Wheel truing not included

Complete Mechanical Bike Overhaul

  • Everything the Major Tune-Up includes PLUS:
  • Complete overhaul for every major bearing system: (this means we take them completely apart, clean with solvent, put new bearings with high quality grease inside and then put them all back together properly adjusted) *Please note: this is for loose bearings only, sealed bearings at an additional cost!
  • Repack hubs and headset
  • Remove, clean, and lube bottom bracket
  • All new stock cables and housing (extra charge for Campagnolo, Shimano or SRAM specific cables)

Wheel Truing

Wheel truing is available as an add-on for all service packages, as needed.

At Al's Cycle Solutions, we provide a variety of services not offered by other bike shops. 

Did you buy a bike online and need someone to build it up? Bring it in... we will make sure it is properly built. 

Going out of town for an extended period of time or moving back home and don't want to leave your bike behind? Bring it in... we will box it for shipment and arrange for it to picked up and delivered to your new address. 

Even if you didn't buy something at our store, we will be happy to install it for you. Remember, we will give you an estimate for FREE before we do any work. We will even train you on how to use your new cyclocomputer or how to use clip on pedals for the first time. 

Our goal is to make sure you are happy, comfortable and safe. Even in the streets of NYC.
